The Museum and Memorial Site in Bełżec has become a place of reflection and contemplation on the tragic events of Aktion Reinhardt. The commemoration of the victims began with the opening of the exhibition "Deportations to the Bełżec Extermination Camp." Photographs, documents, and survivor testimonies provided a powerful glimpse into the experiences of those condemned to deportation and death.

The youth from the Piotr Firlej II High School in Lubartów presented an artistic program entitled "A Suitcase Full of Life." Everyday objects became tools for telling the tragic stories of the Jews deported to Bełżec.

A moving moment was the ceremony of laying flowers and lighting lanterns in the Ohel Niche. Participants in the ceremonies paid tribute to the victims of Aktion Reinhardt, and symbolic gestures emphasized respect for their tragic fates.

Participants in the ceremony could take part free of charge in a guided tour of the museum grounds and in the workshops "In Sealed Wagons": deportations to the Nazi German Extermination Camp in Bełżec". This was an opportunity to learn about the history of the camp and to gain a deeper understanding of the atrocities of the Holocaust.

The commemoration of the 82nd anniversary of the start of Aktion Reinhardt was not only an opportunity to reflect on the past but also an appeal to ensure that crimes against humanity never happen again. The ceremonies were attended by representatives of state and local authorities, teachers and students, and residents of the surrounding towns.
