Today director of the State Museum at Majdanek, Dr. Tomasz Kranz, and dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Prof. Robert Litwiński, signed a letter of intent concerning joint initiatives. – This act can be seen as a symbol and confirmation of cooperation that has been developing since a few years – said Tomasz Kranz during the meeting.

The signatories of the letter obliged themselves to joint promotion and support in creating common projects, especially those related with various forms of education. As part of this-year cooperation between the Museum and the History Department of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, a book edited by W. Wysok and A. Stępnik “Edukacja muzealna w Polsce. Aspekty, konteksty, ujęcia” was published and a seminar for students was organized by the Museum.
