On the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the Tomaszow Lubelski City Council, headed by Mayor Wojciech Żukowski; youth from the High School No. 2 in Tomaszow Lubelski; and city residents commemorated the victims of the Holocaust.

The socio-educational campaign "Daffodils" was organized by the T. Zamoyski Municipal Public Library in Tomaszow Lubelski. During the meeting, one of the speakers was Ewa Koper, who presented to the assembled guests the history of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
Then all the participants of the event paid tribute to the victims at the monument commemorating the Jewish community of Tomaszow Lubelski.
