At the Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec, educational classes for youth on the extermination of Galician Jews were organised, as part of the 10th celebrations of the Holocaust Remembrance Day in Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

The students of the Righteous Among the Nations Lower Secondary School in Bełżec took part in the workshops in the Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec. During the classes, the students learned the stories of their peers, who experienced Holocaust and then they expressed in the forms of posters their feelings related to reflections on the extermination. After the workshops a ceremony commemorating the victims of the death camp in Bełżec took place. Youth lit candles decorated with the names of the victims. The families of the victims who came from Israel and Canada also took part in the ceremony.
