In the High School in Lubaczów, as the part of the Holocaust Remembrance Day commemorating the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, educational workshops were held.

In the first part of the workshops, the youth listened to a lecture combined with a multimedia presentation concerning life in the ghetto and the uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto on April 19, 1943. After analysing the proclamation of the Jewish Military Union calling for the fight and the appeal of the Jewish Combat Organization describing the situation in the ghetto during the uprising, the students had to follow the motives of the Warsaw Jews, who decided on the active resistance movement.

After the historical workshops, the youth together with Ewelina Szumilak from the Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec went to the Jewish cemetery to symbolically commemorate with daffodils the insurgents from the Warsaw Ghetto.
