Bunch of keys to the apartment

The day of the first displacement in Tarnów was a terrible one. Already then, in the morning, the messengers from the Jewish Community came with orders that the resettlers must wait in the hallway of the house until they arrive. They were allowed to take small bundles or suitcases. Everyone was waiting in the gates of the houses, and the crying of those leaving and those remaining could be heard.
