On 30 August 2016 in the Social Welfare Home for Veterans in Biłgoraj, a lecture combined with a multimedia presentation “Holocaust Survivors from the Bełżec camp”. Participants to the meeting were made familiar with the history of operating of the death camp in Bełżec. The lecture included a presentation of the profiles of survivors – Rudolf Reder, Chaim Hirszman, as well as a number of other people whose post-war fates are unknown.

After the lecture, a discussion about the history of the region arose; a few people declared their willingness to share their knowledge about the Jewish population as well as their own experiences related to the pacification and displacements from the Zamość region.
