On February 5, 2014, pupils from the Lower Secondary School No. 19 in Lublin met with a witness to history – Stanisława Kruszewska. The former female prisoner of the concentration camp at Majdanek shared her experiences related with dislocation of her village – Dereźnia Solska in the Zamość Region, and memoirs concerning her stay in the camp.

Accounts by the former prisoner were preceded with a short lecture on the camp history by an employee of the Museum Education Department. The pupils listened to Stanisława Kryszewska with concentration and interest, and asked some questions. Visit to the State Museum at Majdanek and participation in a museum lesson will be the next part of the project.
