On 12 September, Minister of the Interior and Administration Mariusz Błaszczak visited the Museum - Memorial Site in Bełżec as part of his stay in the Lublin Region.

The Minister, accompanied among many others by Lublin Voivod Przemysław Czarnek, paid homage to the victims of the German death camp in Bełżec and laid down flowers in the Ohel Niche. He also became acquainted with the permanent exhibition devoted to the history of the camp in Bełżec and with the symbolism of the commemoration being perceived as one of the most moving monuments related to the Holocaust in Europe.
