A report on the activities of the State Museum at Majdanek and its branches in 2013 has already been published. On 48 pages, there is information about, among other things, the most important events, investments and educational projects.

The report includes also analysis of the number of Museum visitors. In 2013, over 164,000 people visited the State Museum at Majdanek and its branches, and the number of people visiting the Museum since 1944 has amounted to 10 million. Also the Museum website aroused interest. “We are very proud to inform about it, as it confirms that the Museum belongs to memorial sites of great significance, is very popular among visitors, and is perceived by them, similarly to other museums, as attractive. It is important to us, considerning the modernization of the institution”, wrote director Tomasz Kranz in his introduction.
Apart from that the report describes conservation works, activities related with the building of the museum in Sobibór, and books issued by the Museum. It announces events related with the 70th anniversary of the Museum existence which will be held in 2014.
