On November 6, 2013, the promotion of the book issued by the Museum at Majdanek entitled “Museum Education in Poland. Aspects, Contexts, Perspectives,” ed. Wiesław Wysok and Andrzej Stępnik washeld in the Museum of Warsaw Rising.

As a part of the book promotion a discussion panel “The Present and Future of the Polish Museum Education”was organized. It was participated by: prof. dr hab. Barbara Wagner (Faculty of History of the Warsaw University), dr Renata Pater (Faculty of Pedagogics of the Jagiellonian University), Janusz Byszewski (Creative Education Lab of the the Centre for Contemporary Art – Ujazdów Castle), Małgorzata Żaryn (Museum of Polish History), dr Łukasz Michalski (Institute of National Remembrance), dr Karol Mazur (Museum of Warsaw Rising) – host. The invited guests and editors of the book answered questions concerning the contemporary museum education and factors influencing its development. More about the book
