The Museum completed renovation works in more than a dozen of historical buildings. 9 barracks and 10 sentry towers have been restored.

Major works were done in barracks no. 47 located in the economic sector of the former camp. Their foundations, construction elements and lightning protection system were renovated. Apart from that the barracks were impregnated. Also watchtowers underwent an overhaul. The majority of them are located by the road leading to the Mausoleum. Minor repairs were done in eight subsequent barracks. In four of them, the works covered construction elements, entrances and lightning protection system. The other ones had roofs or floors covered anew.
