On April 19, 2018, the project ‘Żonkile’ [Daffodils] was fulfilled within the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which refers to the 75th anniversary of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. This project was organized by Pedagogical Library of Zamość, division in Tomaszów Lubelski in collaboration with the Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec. The students from the B. Głowacki School no. 1 in Tomaszów Lubelski participated in the project.

During the meeting the students listened to the lecture, which was dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, and analyzed the consequences connected with it. After the lecture, students shared their reflections on the source materials and made posters referring to the time of war. After the history workshops they made paper daffodils and went to the monument commemorating the murdered Jews of Tomaszów.
