The Open University of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the State Museum at Majdanek invite you for the free lectures aimed at lower-secondary and secondary students, which concern the history of the Majdanek concentration camp. The lessons, in the form of 45-minute lectures given by the workers of the State Museum at Majdanek, take place in the buildings of the Catholic University of Lublin.
The lecture subjects proposed:
• Death Scenario – how the concentration camp at Majdanek was founded and how it worked
• A mosaic of nationalities and denominations in the struggle for survival behind the wire of Majdanek
• The youngest in the camp – the lot of children in the concentration camp at Majdanek
•Saints in the human hell – the story about the Blessed priests: Roman Archutowski and Emilian Kowcz
• Hippocrates in the concentration camp – the history of the hospital in the concentration camp at Majdanek
•Against all odds – art in the concentration camp at Majdanek
• How to save memories about the crime? The activity of the State Museum at Majdanek.
