The way of the cross service took place at the premises of the former concentration camp at Majdanek on 26th March 2010. Parts of the recollections of the former Majdanek prisoners were the source of reflections and ruminations.

The following people took part in the way of the cross service: Reverend Bishop Artur Miziński, pro-rector of the Catholic University of Lublin prof. Sławomir Nowosad, the manager of the State Museum at Majdanek Tomasz Kranz, Reverend Władysław Kowalik, imprisoned in the camp as a child of the Zamość region, the youth, the inhabitants of Lublin and the Lubelskie Region, altogether about 4000 people. The liturgy which took place within the framework of the celebration of 25th World Day of Youth was organized by Reverend Mieczysław Puzewicz, the bishop’s vicar for the issues of the youth in the Metropolitan Curia in Lublin and the State Museum at Majdanek.
