On July 8th, 2019 Museum and Memorial Site in Bełżec hosted a group of participants of the postgraduate studies "Totalitarianism—Nazism—Holocaust" organized by the Auschwitz Museum in collaboration with the Pedagogical University of Kraków. The visits to the Museum and Memorial Site in Bełżec are cyclical. This is another edition of postgraduate studies in which we partner up with.

The participants of the study tour listened to a lecture entitled “Teaching about the Second World War and the Holocaust in other memorial sites and educational centers.” The objective of the lecture allowed them to learn more about the methods of teaching. The study visit was carried out in a broader perspective, it pertained to not only the history of the German death camp in Bełżec, but also to the establishment and symbolism of the memorial as well as operation, especially the educational perspective of the museum. The participants laid flowers at the Niche Ohel and honoured memory of all victims with a minute of silence.
