On June 29, 2016 , the Museum in Belzec hosted participants of the Summer School "Memory – Place – Presence ", organized by the Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre Centre.

Participants of the Summer School came to Poland from the USA, Germany, Israel, Ukraine, Italy, Great Britain, Hungary, Belgium and different Polish cities. The purpose of their arrival was to learn about the history of the city Lublin and the Lublin region in the context of Jewish cultural heritage.

In the area of the memorial in Belzec, participants acquainted themselves with photographs related to the camp’s functioning, selected stories of victims and survivors, and the course of activities related to the commemoration of the former camp.
