On November 13, 2013, young people from the Volunteer Centre of Zamość joined the opportunity to learn about the history of the Bełżec death camp with some action in favour of the memorial site.

Volunteers from Zamość took part in a one-day-long project carried out on the grounds of the Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec. It resulted in cleansing the graveyard being a part of the commemoration. In the educational phase of the workcamp, a workshop for the participants was organized to show them some objects found in the area of the former camp during excavations works carried out in the 90’s. The participants were also guided through the historical exhibition and commemoration of the Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec. Moreover, they visited places in Bełżec related with the camp.
