At the end of March and the beginning of April 2016, the students from of the Righteous among Nations Public Junior High School in Bełżec attended the organizational meetings dedicated to the project aimed at presenting the history of Bełżec from the interwar period to the present day. The project will take a year.

Over the next few months, from spring 2016 to spring 2017, young people will collect materials and work on particular issues relating to the functioning of the death camp in Bełżec, the first commemoration built on its site and the present-day memorial site. Divided into nine work teams, the students will present outcomes of their work at regular meetings. The project wrapped up with an exhibition in three languages financed by the Association Bildungswerk Stanisław Hantz e.V from Germany which collaborates with the Museum –Memorial Site in Bełżec.
