“Forgotten stories, forgotten people – young people from Poland, Germany and Israel discover fates of the Nazi victims” – it is a title of a project carried out by the Zamość Volunteer Centre, Maria Konopnicka Secondary School in Zamość, Dürer-Gymnasium in Nurenberg, and Youth Village Kfar Silver in Hof Ashkelon.

On February 4, 2015, as part of the three-stage project, young people from three countries visited the Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec. A group of 41 students and their tutors were guided through the historical exhibition and the commemoration. They also watched a film “Bełżec” directed by G. Moskovitz. In the Ohel Niche there was a ceremony held to pay homage to the victims of the death camp in Bełżec – the flowers were laid down and candles were lit.
