“Memory Unites Us” – commemorative activities marking the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

Today, staff of the Museum and Memorial Site in Bełżec took part in the nationwide campaign “Memory Unites Us,” carrying out educational and commemorative activities in three different locations.

In cooperation with the Municipal Cultural Centre in Bełżec, educational activities were organized for students from the Primary School named after the Zamoyski Entail in Sabaudia, the Primary School in Obsza, the Maria Curie-Skłodowska Primary School in Tarnogród, and the School and Preschool Complex in Bełżec.

Together with the Pedagogical Library in Zamość – Tomaszów Lubelski Branch, educational sessions were conducted for students of the Bartosz Głowacki Secondary School No. 1 in Tomaszów Lubelski.

At the Tomaszów Zamoyski Municipal Public Library in Tomaszów Lubelski, a lecture was held on the heroism of the participants of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, addressed to teachers of the Second Secondary School, young people, members of the Book Discussion Club, and residents of Tomaszów.

Through these activities, tribute was paid to the victims and heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
