On March 16, the third meeting of the Museum Council of this term was held at the State Museum at Majdanek.

The meeting was opened by its chairman, Prof. Andrzej Żbikowski. In the first part of the session, the Museum’s director, Tomasz Kranz, summarized our activities from the previous year. He noted that the main focus of our work in 2025 was international cooperation with partners from Germany and the Netherlands.

The next part of the meeting focused on the activities planned by the Museum for the coming months. Particular attention was given to the Polish-German Forum of Places of Remembrance, which we will inaugurate in Lublin next week, as well as to work on a new museum website and a visitor app, and the planned upgrades and renovations.

The members of the Council unanimously approved the report on the Museum’s activities in 2025 and accepted the work plan for the current year.
