Results of the Competition “Bełżec – Site of Crime – Site of Remembrance”

A total of 50 entries were submitted to the competition, from which the jury selected the winners and distinguished participants in two categories. We would like to thank all participants for their commitment, sensitivity, and the high artistic and substantive quality of their work.

A collage of overlapping A4-sized printed sheets displaying various poster designs commemorating the Bełżec extermination camp. The artwork features historical and symbolic motifs, including railway tracks leading to a barbed-wire fence, silhouettes of people lined up beneath wires, and prominent text reading "Bełżec", "Obóz zagłady w Bełżcu", and "Miejsce zbrodni, miejsce pamięci". The designs rely on a dark, somber color palette dominated by black, white, brown, and grey tones.
